About us
Dental Receptionists exists because a good clinician should not have to choose between patient care and an unanswered phone.
Going independent gives a dentist more clinical control and more direct responsibility for everything around the chair. The phone rings during a hygiene check. A new patient needs an appointment type that is not obvious. A recall list ages while the team handles check-ins. An insurance portal sits open in a tab because nobody has time to finish the follow-up.
Hiring a full-time front-desk employee can be the right answer for a mature practice. It is rarely the first answer for a solo dentist who is still building patient volume, and it creates a new management responsibility on top of the clinical day.
A generic virtual assistant is not a complete answer either. Dental reception work depends on the appointment rules, the insurance vocabulary, the recall cadence, the difference between an administrative question and a clinical one, and the practice's own privacy expectations.
We built a managed front-office function for that gap: trained administrative support, a written playbook, approved system access, and a clean handoff when a decision belongs to the practice.
We are not a call center and not a marketplace of independent assistants. Each practice works with a team that learns its scripts, systems, and escalation rules. The account lead is responsible for the quality of the handoff, not just the number of calls answered.
Every engagement starts with a written scope. The scope names what we handle, what we do not handle, which systems we can access, who approves changes, and how quickly an exception must come back to the practice.
We report on the work in plain language: calls answered, appointments booked, cancellations recovered, outreach attempted, documents prepared, items waiting, and errors corrected. If something is not working, the report should make that visible rather than hide it behind a dashboard.
Our parent company
Dental Receptionists is powered by StealthAgents. StealthAgents supports the recruiting, matching, and managed-service relationship behind the remote team, including the operating standards that sit around a dedicated role.
The subsidiary identity stays primary because dental front-office work needs its own scripts, examples, and boundaries. The parent relationship provides recruiting and operating context, not a generic staffing template.
Meet StealthAgents
A clear operating model is more useful than a list of adjectives.
We handle patient communications and practice data as part of the front-office workflow. The team is trained on HIPAA-aware handling: minimum necessary access, approved communication channels, secure storage, and clear rules for what is logged and retained.
We are not a HIPAA-certified covered entity and do not claim that status. We operate as a business associate under your protocols and a signed business associate agreement where required. Your compliance officer should review the arrangement during onboarding.
We will look at the calls, the schedule, the paperwork, and the follow-up, then tell you what can be delegated and what should stay with your practice.
